I finally took some pictures of the Escuela Universitaria de Turismo. The building seems to be pretty new. It's nice! The professors are great and I met with my "tutor" (academic advisor) and he was super friendly and helpful. |

I hit my head on the bulletin
board, like, every day |
When I got to class (at the other campus), I saw that there were a bunch of International Student or American-related slurs and comments written on the chalk board. Of course, today was the one day that I was the only international student in class. I just sat there, mad and confused. I didn't know who wrote it and if it was directed at me...but it was written in English so it definitely got my attention. One of the male students came up and said something about erasing it, so they did. Ugggh!

Class. |
When I came home I really just wanted to chill...classes can get a little stressful. My solution: a nice, hot bath! I found a pack of tea-light candles...so I had no other choice than to have a classy candlelit bath :)
I was actually on time for dinner tonight! I made it around 10pm. I fried an egg, then made two little bocadillos with the sweet, pan de leche that I bought at Carrefour. I made a slice of bacon and put some cheddar cheese on them. Sooo tastylicious. Also, I had a carrot from the market, plus the Ranch dressing I got from Carrefour. I'm so glad I was able to make it there.
Lastly, I just had what I thought was going to be vanilla yogurt with Chips Ahoy cookie pieces to mix in. It turned out to be chocolate pudding...
best. mistake. ever.
I love it when you post pics!
ReplyDeleteYou made me laugh out load when you said, "I hit my head on the bulletin board, like, every day." OMG! That is so ME!
I am sorry you had to see hatefulness at school. Probably not intended for you, but I know it hurts. Hurts me too. Remember the nice man with the toothpaste! :)
Glad you had a lovely bath and dinner. Way to recover!!! Go you!
Hugs!
